An Okanagan man was caught grossly overfishing rainbow trout on Saturday.
According to B.C. Conservation Service, one man in a group of three fishermen on board had more than six times the legal limit for Gardom Lake, near Enderby B.C.

Conservation officers found 19 rainbow trout on the man's boat, which is 13 more than the legal limit of two.
The man who caught the majority of the fish was fined $1,000 and charged under the British Columbia Sport Fishing Regulations and the Wildlife Act.
"The abuse of the resource — it takes away from you and me. It takes away from everybody in the province," said Eric Tyukodi of the Conservation Officer Service to the CBC.
"If stuff like this is going on out there, in a couple of weekends that lake would be dead."
