Hundreds of locals braved the cold on Saturday morning to be some of the first to visit the sixth annual Craft Culture Winter Market hosted at Prospera Place.
The annual event is known as one of Kelowna’s biggest and best artisan vendor markets, and this year it set a new record.
The 2018 event boasts a whopping 180 vendors from in and around British Columbia, some which have traveled as far as Alberta to share their wares, with the flocks of attendees filing through gate one.
From delicious homemade food and ingredients to spice up your holiday feasts, to handcrafted jewellery, clothing and even furniture, the event has something for even the pickiest person on your Christmas list.
Not only will you be in awe of the large number and wide variety of vendors, attendees can also take comfort in knowing organizers took a few extra steps to make things run smoothly.
Wider aisles, stroller parking, extended shopping hours and even an onsite bar (to help cope with the stresses of the holidays) — the team behind Craft Culture seem to have thought of everything to help keep attendees excited and comfortable.
If you haven’t made it downtown to have a peek, no worries, there is still plenty of time! Shopping carries on until 7:30 p.m. tonight and returns from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
