The seventh edition of the Earth to Table Vegan Market is in the midst of once again conquering the Laurel Packing House.
Known as a hub for all things plant-based and cruelty-free, the market boasts over 30 vendors from in and around the province for the Okanagan’s growing vegan population.
Until 3 p.m. today, attendees can enjoy hearty plant-based meals, source cruelty-free body care and find everything from apparel with proud vegan messaging to delicious take home treats.
“It is amazing to see [the market] grow, its like watching your little baby go out into the world,” said co-organizer, Allison Staten.
With now being seven markets in, the Earth to Table team have opted for a bit of a change and will be taking the summer off to ramp up for their very first outdoor market.
“We are just excited to do something a little bit different. We have run this a few times now and we have heard so much feedback about people wanting an outdoor market,” said Staten.
Slated for sometime in September, the market will take place at House of Rose Winery and feature more vendors, live music, stunning scenery and of course, wine!
“We started with such a small venue not really knowing what it was going to grow in to, it is just amazing to have this sort of following now and to just seeing the growth of veganism in Kelowna,” added Staten.
Don’t miss out on your chance to learn more about the vegan, plant-based and cruelty-free options offered in the Okanagan. The final market for the spring and summer season is on now until 3 p.m.
