"The Okanagan is home to two kinds of tattoos: The one your father warned you about, and the one with dozens of dancers, drums, bands, bagpipes and kilts all on a single stage," a description of the event reads.

"A musical extravaganza of pipers, drummers, musicians, military bands, marching troops, multicultural dancers and singers of all ages brought together in an action packed, non-stop choreographed two-hour event."

The exposition will feature over 400 performers from across North America as well as the Brentwood Imperial Youth Band from the United Kingdom.

Included in the performers is the award-winning Calgary Round-Up Band, which scored the World Junior Band Champions, World Drumline Battle Champions and Calgary Stampede Parade Best Junior Band titles for 2019.

The Calgary Round-Up Band will also be playing at the Kelowna Farmer's and Crafter's Market on Wednesday starting at 10:30 am where you can have a chance to win tickets to attend the Okanagan Military Tattoo in Vernon!

In addition to the over 15 groups, more than 30 exhibitors will be present in the Kal Tire Place North (located at 3445 43rd Ave.) on July 27 (from 7 pm until 9 pm) and July 28 (from 2 pm until 4 pm).
