After winning the qualifying session a day earlier, the 25-year-old from Comox, B.C., continued to soar above the competition.
A strong first run earned Sharpe an impressive score of 94.40 but it was the amazing score of 95.80 on her second run that landed the Canadian on top of the podium.
The score was more than enough to claim Canada's seventh gold and 18th medal overall of the 2018 Winter Olympics.
France's Marie Martinod took silver after crashing in her final run, which guaranteed Sharpe the top spot.
Roz Groenewould of Calgary, competing with arm that was fractured just nine weeks ago, finished 10th.
