Hometown pride, O'Dine will represent Prince George in Olympic snowboard cross

Get ready Prince George, there’s another Olympic athlete to watch!

Meryeta O’Dine will be competing in the women’s snowboard cross event.

The 21-year-old is set to take part in the qualifying round at 5 p.m.

The quarter-final, semi-final and final rounds will follow shortly after.

O’Dine is no stranger to winning. During the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince Goerge, O’Dine had the pleasure of securing gold in snowboard cross.
