City adds 3 new kiosks to increase resident feedback on community decisions

Residents have another way to get involved in City decisions with three new engagement kiosks.

The kiosks have been created to provide a central point for residents to learn more about and get involved in community decisions.

Residents can find the kiosks at the Community Centre, City Hall and in the lobby at the Library/Museum.

“The new kiosks ensure that we can consistently and conveniently involve people who have limited computer access or skills in City decisions that matter to them,” says Engagement Strategist JoAnne Kleb.

“It is one of our efforts to reduce barriers to participation and ensure our engagement activities are inclusive and respectful.”

The kiosks will only be available when the City is gathering feedback from residents or reporting the findings of engagement activities.

The new kiosks are currently showcasing the results of the first phase of engagement in the development of the Skaha Park East Plan.

Each kiosk has an area to display information, three folders to hold copies of reports or feedback forms, and a drop box to collect surveys.
