Arrests and seizures made during Prince George RCMP drug investigation

Prince George RCMP had a lovely Valentine's day after they made multiple arrests and seized many different drugs during an investigation.

In the afternoon, Prince George RCMP's Street Crew Unit arrested an adult male and an adult female near the intersection of 4th Avenue and Dominion Street. The arrests were made as part of an on-going drug trafficking investigation.

Following the arrests, officers executed Controlled Drugs & Substances Act search warrants at residences located on the 5900 block of Montgomery Crescent and 4600 block of Freimuller Avenue in Prince George. Officers seized what is believed to be fentanyl, cocaine, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Five people were arrested and later released without charge, pending further investigation from the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada.
