Prince George RCMP is continuing to investigate a targeted shooting that occurred in the community on Friday.
According to police, at approximately 4:15 p.m., RCMP received reports of gunshots in the 2200 block of Quince Street.
Frontline officers attended the area which led them to an altercation between two groups of people in an alley. Everyone in the alley was said to have known each other.
During the altercation, bear spray was used, followed by, what police believe, to be a single gunshot. Though everyone fled the scene, 31-year-old Kyle Teegee was caught and arrested.
The lone victim was located in a dark coloured SUV and was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot would. He was transported to the hospital safely for treatment.
On Sunday, officers arrested a second suspect, 26-year-old Anthony Larsen, at a residence on the 2100 block of Tamarack Street. On Monday, the BC Prosecution Service Charged Teegee, Larsen, Kenneth Munroe, and Eric West with Extortion with a Firearm, Attempted Kidnapping, Assault with a Weapon, and Assault Causing Bodily Harm. West was also charged with Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace while Teegee was also charged with Obstructing a Peace Officer.
Arrest warrants were issued for West and Munroe. Munroe is described as a 33-year-old First Nations man with black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of "KRM" on his neck. He is 5'10" and weighs 161lbs. West is a 38-year-old First Nations man who has black hair and brown eyes. He is 5'11" and weighs 180 lbs.
