RCMP investigating attempted sexual assault

Prince George RCMP are currently investigating an attempted sexual assault that is believed to have taken place on the evening of Dec. 3, near Ruggle Street.

According to police, the female victim is under the age of 18 and was walking alone in the area when an unknown man approached her and pushed her down from behind. The victim was able to free herself and run away.

The suspect is described as:

• Dark skinned male, possibly African descent
• 20 to 30-years-old
• 183 cm (6'0")
• Medium build
• Very little or no hair (was wearing a toque)
• Wearing a grey sweater, jeans and a toque

Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
