Summer is fast approaching (June 21), but a lot of the fun has already begun.

Whether it’s cooling off at one of the impressive waterparks in the province, or catching a flick under the stars, the best things about summer are already here.

Here’s your guide to all the summer fun that’s already in full force in B.C.!

Starlight Drive-In Theatre

Spend your warm summer evenings watching a movie from the comfort of your vehicle, amidst the beautiful nature British Columbia is known for.

Starlight Drive-In in Enderby is open for another summer of movie madness.

This local favourite is the perfect opportunity to take in a film under

Located 55 minutes away from Kelowna, 22 minutes from Vernon, and 75 minutes from Kamloops, the drive-in is a popular attraction for locals and tourists.

The biggest waterpark in B.C.

Cultus Lake Waterpark opened on June 2 for a thrilling summer season.

With slides, pools, a lazy river, shops and restaurants, picnic areas, and more, it’s the perfect summer getaway. Thrill seekers are set, as the park promises some of the most extreme waterslides you’ll ever ride.

Located about 15 minutes from the Trans Canada Highway at 4150 Columbia Valley Highway, the water park will be open rain or shine until Sept. 3, 2018.

And hey, if you’re a fan of epic water slides, make sure you check out this one when it opens. Big Splash Waterpark in Tsawwassen is adding a Boomerango tube slide in 2018, which will be the largest waterslide, as well as the only one of its kind, in Western Canada.

The Revelstoke Pipe Mountain Coaster

This coaster is back for another season, giving visitors some epic views.

The exhilarating ride takes you through twists and turns across ski runs, between glades and through a tunnel, travelling up to 42 km/h.

Unlike a traditional coaster, riders control their own speed, making it fun for all ages.

The attraction is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until June 29. Starting June 30, it will be open 12 hours a day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Labour Day weekend.

As an added bonus to the coaster, guests can now ride the Revelation Gondola all the way to the top of the mountain where you’ll be able to relax and take in the views.

The Enchanted Forest

In case you didn’t know already, B.C. is home to an enchanted forest. You’re welcome.

This treehouse is the biggest in the province, and features a magical forest walk.

Located 32 kilometres west of Revelstoke, this tourist attraction also has 350 handcrafted fairy tale figurines and structures all hidden within gorgeous old growth forest.

As for the treehouse, it ascends more than 50 feet into the tall trees and has plenty of rooms and levels to explore.

Currently, the hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily, but that extends to 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on June 23 and will stay that way through the end of August.

Rope Runner Park

This oversized playground is the perfect way to sweat and have some fun.

Rope Runner Park in Squamish is a thrilling aerial adventure that allows you to scale 50 different elementS and 36 stations. Climbers will be in paradise navigating everything from bridges, swings, and balancing beams.

Up to 60 people can be on the structure at one time, which means little to no line ups, because no one's inner child likes lines.

Right now the park in open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but starting on June 30 to Sept. 3, it will be open seven days a week for the summer.
