This time, there’s $128 million in total prizes available, including a $70-million jackpot that has gone unclaimed over the last two draws.
Another 58 Maxmillion prize draws of $1 million are available to be won as well.
The $128 million in total prizes beats the previous Canadian record of $120 million that was set just four days ago, which beat the previous record of $117 million from last Tuesday.
Prior to these massive prize totals we’ve seen of late, the highest amount of total prizes available in a Canadian lottery draw was $116 million on Oct. 26, 2018.
So far this year, BC lottery players have redeemed more than $62 million in winnings from Lotto Max.
The odds of winning the main jackpot are 1 in 33,294,800 per $5 play.
Players can purchase Lotto Max tickets at any of the 3,500 lottery retailers in British Columbia, as well as online at PlayNow.com or through the BCLC app.
