The $128 million in total prizes beats the previous Canadian record of $120 million that was set just four days ago, which beat the previous record of $117 million from last Tuesday.

Prior to these massive prize totals we’ve seen of late, the highest amount of total prizes available in a Canadian lottery draw was $116 million on Oct. 26, 2018.

So far this year, BC lottery players have redeemed more than $62 million in winnings from Lotto Max.

The odds of winning the main jackpot are 1 in 33,294,800 per $5 play.

Players can purchase Lotto Max tickets at any of the 3,500 lottery retailers in British Columbia, as well as online at PlayNow.com or through the BCLC app.
