(UPDATE: Sept. 6 @ 3:15 pm) – In a statement provided Tuesday afternoon, mounties in Coquitlam confirmed that two men reported unlawfully at large have been located.
The 21-year-old was reported overdue to a psychiatric hospital on Sept. 4 at 7:34 pm.
Another man, 39, was reported overdue to the same facility about 20 minutes later.
Police in Coquitlam thanked the public for their assistance.
(Original Story: Sept. 5 @ 11:02 am) – Mounties in the Lower Mainland are advising the public that two men who did not return to the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in Coquitlam Sundaynight are now wanted on Canada-wide warrants.
RCMP say both men are now “unlawfully at large” after not returning to the hospital.
The first man, Eric Sabbadin, was reported overdue on Sept. 4 at 7:34 pm.
He is described as a 21-year-old Caucasian male with short black hair and brown eyes. He is 5’7 and 152 lbs and was last seen wearing a black jacket, shirt, pants and white shoes.
The second man, Michael Gardner, is also considered unlawfully at large after not returning to the same facility.
Gardener was reported overdue at 7:54 pm on Sunday.
He is described as:
39-year-old, Caucasian, male
Short brown hair and blue eyes
6’0 (183cm) and 344 lbs (156kg)
Last seen wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black pants, grey shoes, glasses and a black backpack.
Police say that both men “may behave in a way that presents a risk to (themselves)” or the public.
Anyone who may see the two men are advised to not approach them and call 911 immediately.
Police did not provide any information as to whether the two incidents are connected.
