Horgan shuffles cabinet and fills vacancy

Premier John Horgan announced changes to his cabinet today.

He added Anne Kang to the cabinet as the province’s new minister of citizen’s services.

She replaces Jinny Sims, who resigned from that role back in October.

Horgan also switched the cabinet roles of Michelle Mungall and Bruce Ralston.

That means Mungall is now minister of jobs, economic development and competitiveness, while Ralston’s new title is minister of energy, mines and petroleum resources.

“These ministers will work hard every day to deliver sustainable economic growth that provides good jobs, a better quality of life and a stronger province for people in every region,” said Horgan.

“I am confident they will put their knowledge and energy to work for people, as we focus on building an economy that works for everyone.”
