(Update: May 24 @ 2 p.m.): Police have identified two Richmond men in the robbery of a senior last month on Commercial Drive.
Duncan McCaffery Fowler, age 25, and Coleton Reid Szalay, age 23, have each been charged with robbery following a Vancouver Police investigation. Fowler was arrested in Richmond on May 23, and has since been released pending his next court appearance.
Police are still looking for Szalay, who is now wanted Canada-wide.
The men were identified after VPD released video and images of two suspects in the robbery of a 77-year-old Vancouver man, who was followed from a payday loan store near Commercial Drive and North Grandview Highway on April 28.
Anyone with information about Szalay’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police today released a video of two suspects who allegedly robbed a Vancouver senior.
VPD investigators believe the two men were in the area of Commercial Drive and north Granview Highway around 4 p.m. on April 28, when a 77-year-old man was knocked to the ground and robbed.
Police are requesting assistance from the public to identify the suspects.
“This appears to be a violent and targeted attack on a vulnerable member of our community,” says Constable Steve Addison, VPD. “We would like these men to come forward, or for anyone who knows them to contact police, so we can talk about what happened.”
VPD believes two men followed the victim into a payday loan store about three blocks north of the Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain station, and watched him obtain several hundred dollars cash.
The suspects allegedly followed the senior into a grocery store, pretended to shop, and knocked him to the ground after he left.
The suspects ran away with the senior’s wallet, cash, and identification. The victim had non-life-threatening injuries.
“We would like the people responsible for this crime to do the right thing and turn themselves in,” says Cst. Addison.
