Richard and Frances Laidlaw have some big plans after a life-changing lottery win.
The Langley couple matched all four Extra numbers in the Feb. 14, 2019 Daily Grand Lottery draw, which earned them a $500,000 prize.
“I didn’t believe it when Frances told me to look at the ticket,” said Richard. “We have always dreamed of upgrading our house.”
Now that they have more than enough disposable income, that upgrade to the house may mean moving to a whole new location.
“This will change our lives a whole lot,” Richard added. “We were actually thinking about moving to Kelowna and this makes it even more possible.”
Their potential journey to Kelowna isn’t the only travel that’s on their mind after the big win.
Frances says she has her sights on a trip to Italy and maybe even a cruise for the couple.
