DriveBC is reporting that Highway 3A near Castlegar is now open to single lane alternating traffic after crews spent yesterday clearing a mudslide.

Highway 3A is closed in both directions after a major mudslide this morning.
The slide is located about 2 kilometres east of Brilliant and just north of Castlegar. An assessment is currently in progress and a detour for smaller passenger vehicles through Pass Creek Road is available.
