(UPDATE: 10:35 p.m.) - Drive BC has confirmed that Hwy 6 is cleared to both lanes of traffic.
The area between Pottery Road and Waddington Drive was previously closed due to a vehicle incident, but is now open for travellers.
(UPDATE: 6:30 p.m.) - Travellers looking to move along Highway 6 near Vernon will be rerouted around a vehicle incident blocking the way.
Drive BC has reported that the vehicle incident reported earlier has closed the road and may keep it shut until about 10 p.m. Sunday night.
The incident has caused the closure of the highway between Waddington Drive and Pottery Road.
Crews are on scene and a detour has been marked via Pottery Road and 15th Street.

A vehicle incident has been reported near Waddington Drive on Hwy 6 and crews have been sent to assist.
According to Drive BC, a vehicle incident occurred eastbound near Waddington Drive.
