(UPDATE - 8:30 p.m.): According to Drive BC, Highway 97 has reopened 28 kilometres north of 100 Mile House.
(ORIGINAL - 7:30 p.m.): B.C. Highway 97 has been closed 28 kilometres north of 100 Mile House after a vehicle incident took place earlier this evening.
According to Drive BC, the incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. between Emerald Crescent and Dodge Road in the Lac La Hache area.
A detour is available via Emerald Crescent and Forbes Road for Northbound and Southbound light traffic only.
Crews are currently assessing the scene, but there is no word yet on when the highway will reopen.
