It was closed for around 24 hours due to flooding.
DriveBC says motorists should expect delays due to the congestion.

(UPDATE: July 3 @ 6:20 am) - The closure of Hwy 1 in both directions west of Revelstoke is nearing 24 hours.
The highway closed on Thursday morning after flooding washed out the highway and crews have been working almost non-stop to get the flow of water under control and repair the road.
In the meantime, there's no immediate detour.

Crews continue to work hard to get the flooded road back open to traffic as soon as possible.
