Missing teenager found at Sun Peaks Resort

A teenager was discovered by resort staff at Sun Peaks Resort on Friday after being reported missing.

At around 5.30 p.m., TK'emlups Rural RCMP were dispatched to Sun Peaks Resort to locate a missing/ overdue snowboarder.

The person reported missing was a 19-year-old male from Sherwood Park, Alberta who got separated from his friend.

Search and Rescue attended the search for the missing man with a Drone Team.

The teenager was located at 9:07 p.m on the Mountain at the bottom of the Elevation Chairlift by Resort staff.

He was uninjured but hungry.
