Yo yo! My name is Chloe Szakacs, I am a student at the Okanagan College with a goal of obtaining my Bachelors of Social Work. I teach yoga once a week @tandavayoga and volunteer with the Elizabeth Fry Society. I also just recently launched my small business & website – www.jujujackets.com, where I sell re-loved, vintage jackets! (Check it out!) I have a deep passion for people, travel, music, creativity, spirituality, our dear Mother Earth and for making this world a better place. [❤]

Why do you use Instagram?

I use Instagram mainly as a personal visual blog. I like to look at it as a photographic timeline of important memories that I am ansy to share. (Kind of like a scrap book!) It is definitely a cool way to connect with friends from all around the world and to gain inspiration from any direction. I also recently started using Instagram as a small business marketing tool for @jujujackets.

Maybe she was a mom, a doctor, a poet. Maybe he was a fisherman, a journalist, a student. Whoever they were – that badass had style. And I’m sure they had a reason to let go. Now its your turn. To take a walk in their shoes - or their coat. Re-write history. Does your page have a specific style?

I don’t think I have a particular style. I often use the Clarendon Filter to keep things spicy. [😉]

Why do you follow KelownaNow?

Kelowna Now has breathtaking photos that are familiar to the locals’ eye. The photos inspire me to get out into nature, and into our community to embrace everything Kelowna has to offer. How do you decide on your location for shoots?

Lol, I live my life. And usually have my phone with me. Snap. Crackle. Pop on Instagram.
However, if I ever needed help with a specific shoot, @aaron.desilva is ALWAYS the go to guy. His work is impeccable – I recommend checking out his page.

Biggest Instagram moment?

I can’t say for sure, but I think probably my engagement. My partner and I make a damn good team, and its super beautiful to see the support from friends and family. Him and I met in Guatemala travelling and were a ‘love at first sight’ kind of story. I truly hope that sharing our love with the world can inspire others to settle for nothing less than perfection – true love does exist.

... & i will love you til the end of time... 🎶❤️ paul asked me to marry him, and well I am quite certain I am THE happiest human to ever walk this planet.. 🙈💕 I drove Paul to the airport yesterday morning, because "he had a work gig in New York." (Little punks a good liar.) I then planned to to have a "girls night" with Carly out at Seclusion Bay, so you can understand my reaction when i walked into this.. (sorry for my language mama!) How did I get so lucky... I get to spend the rest of my life with the sweetest, most genuine, wisest and most freakin handsome man in the world. Like I said in February when we met in Guatemala, "there is no doubt in my mind that you are meant to be by my side for this human experience." 💕✨💫 This is from my journal just days after I met you: "In every single way, you are pure perfection. Last night I laid on your chest and listened to your heart beat. You didn't see, but my eyes swelled with tears - to the evidence that you are in fact real... ...As a drummer, you know a good beat.
