5 natural hot springs to enjoy in BC before the end of winter

Winter is one of the best times of year to check out BC's many natural hot springs.

You can stay warm while enjoying the endless beauty that the province has to offer.

Here are just a few that we recommend you visit before winter ends.

Who isn’t up for a camping/hot springs combo?

Tsek Hot Springs and Campground, located in Skookumchuck, offers up a relaxing retreat into nature that will help you recharge your batteries.

They have over 30 campsites that are operational all year round. And, they have 12 tubs to soak in, including four straight hot water tubs, one cold water tub and seven tubs you can adjust with both hot and cold water.

Halcyon Hot Springs

Stay at a cottage or chalet and take in the Monashee Mountains from your windows or while lounging in the springs. Halcyon Hot Springs sits waterfront on Upper Arrow Lake and is home to restorative hot spring waters.

Hot Springs Cove

Hot Springs Cove is located near Tofino, and is only accessible by boat or float plane. Once your there, the experience begins with a 30-minute walk down a winding trail through stunning BC forest.

Lussier Hot Springs

Lussier Hot Springs a popular spot for campers and hikers. Located in Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park, this hot spring includes a short hike down the Lussier River.

Liard Hot Springs

Liard Hot Springs is located near the Alaska Highway, giving travellers some much needed relief after a long day on the road. The park is such a popular stop over for tourists that the campground fills up early each day during the summer months. Liard is also open year-round. There is a hot spring open to the public called Alpha pool with water temperatures ranging from 42°C to 52°C.
