Airbnb has revealed the most wishlisted unique stays in Canada, and three Vancouver Island properties made the list.

Two out of the three listings are tree houses located in beautiful Sooke.

Visitors to Vancouver Island are loving the Owl’s Perch tree top escape, and the East Sooke Tree House.

Both stays provide stunning tree top views that are perfect for explorers who want to be as close as possible to nature.

Perhaps the most well known property is the Cob Cottage on Mayne Island. The cottage, which is hand sculpted using natural and sustainable materials, has been featured in numerous travel articles for its unique design and cozy vibes.

Also on the cross-Canada list were some pretty vacation-inspiring properties such as boathouses, yurts, chalets — even a lighthouse.
