If you’re heading to Vancouver sometime in May, you can now put Playland on your list of things to do.
The popular East Vancouver amusement park will open its doors for the summer on Saturday, May 4.
Already renowned for its thrilling rides such as the Hellevator, the iconic Wooden Roller Coaster and the Corkscrew, Playland will also have a mini-golf course this summer.
In total, there are over 35 rides and attractions to enjoy, 14 of which offer an "extreme" experience for those who dare to ride them.
There’s also other attractions like an arcade, shooting gallery, climbing wall, glass house and more.
The park is only open weekends from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., but it will be open every day of the week beginning June 9.
Admission to the park is $37 ($34 in advance) for those over 48” tall and $28 ($26 in advance) for anyone under that height.
Children 3 years old and young, as well as seniors 65 years old and older, will be able to get in for free.
