UPDATE: Missing Vancouver Island woman found dead

(UPDATE: April 20 @ 9 am) - Saanich police are reporting that Megan Letham was found dead on Monday evening.

The 24-year-old's death is not being treated as suspicious.

"Our thoughts are with her family and her loved ones," said Cst. Markus Anastasiades.

Police thanked the public and media for assisting in the search.

(Original Story: April 19 @ 11 am) - Saanich Police are searching for a 24-year-old woman who's reportedly missing.

Megan Letham was last seen in the Mount Douglas Park area on Saturday, April 17.

According to police, she was wearing a large sweater with “Superbowl 2020,” a grey Patagonia v-neck t-shirt, an orange toque, black pants, and blue tye-dyed sneakers.

She may be also wearing a taupe-coloured blanket and a small backpack or slingpack.
