Due to the crash, the teen sustained injuries to his lower body. In order to reach the injured driver, WKFR needed to deploy its new off-road Utility Vehicle (UTV 32).

The UTV 32 picked up additional medical supplies from the BC Ambulance Service and got to the injured patient. Then, the patient was stabilized, packaged, and transported to Kelowna General Hospital for further assessment.

More to come.
