This interactive map shows that B.C.'s wildfire season is far from over

Some cooler weather and the occasional rainfall surely has some forgetting that it's still very much wildfire season in B.C.

There are currently 135 active wildfires of more than 0.01 hectares in size that are burning in the province.

On the BC Wildfire Service website, you can see an interactive map of all 135 active fires, which is still lit up like a Christmas tree.

Of the 135 active fires that are more than 0.01 hectares, 18 of them are considered wildfires of note.

Those wildfires of note are located throughout three B.C. fire regions and you can find the latest numbers on those at the BC Wildfire Service website.
