Two human-caused wildfires discovered between Ashcroft and Cache Creek

Two new wildfires were discovered in the Kamloops Fire Centre on Monday.

The first fire was found near Juniper Beach and is an estimated 0.10 hectares while the second is an estimated 1.50 hectares and sits 4 km northwest of Separating Lake. Both fires are very close to Cache Creek and Ashcroft.

At this time, both fires are suspected to be caused by humans.

These are now the fourth wildfires started by people in the Kamloops Fire Centre over the past 36 hours.
