Canopy Rivers Corporation is hosting a “pitch day” in Vancouver next month with the chance to win $1,000,000 from the company to help build your business.

Entrepreneurs will have to attend this year's International Cannabis Business Conference, where the investment group behind one of Canada's largest licensed producers listen to applicants pitches.
"Could you use some extra cash on your journey as a cannabis entrepreneur?" asks Canopy Rivers on its website. "We know the industry needs successful players of all sizes in order to thrive - that's why we're opening a call to micro cannabis entrepreneurs looking for a capital infusion."
However, candidates cannot currently be a cultivation applicant under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations.
Applications are free, and are open to micro-growers, micro-processors, nurseries, hemp cultivators, and more. The deadline to apply is June 7.
Canopy Rivers Corporation and Canopy Growth Corporation will host the million-dollar pitch event during the two-day conference, happening at the Sheraton Wall Centre on June 24 and 25.
