A Harvest Moon will be visible in the sky tonight

Get your cameras out everybody, because there is going to be a big show in the sky tonight.

According to NASA, the Harvest Moon is set to appear mid-afternoon and will become increasingly visible as the sun sets.

You may have noticed the moon looked particularly bright and full last night, Wednesday, October 4th.

A particularly bright moon was visible and was caught on camera by viewers.

NASA says that the moon will appear full for about three days, starting yesterday all the way into Friday evening.

Usually, the moon rises an average of about 50 minutes later each day, but near the autumnal equinox, the difference is only 30 minutes.

The Full Harvest Moon, which will be visible tonight, rises at sunset and then rises near sunset for several consecutive nights.
