Pilon will report to the Capitals’ AHL club, the Hershey Bears, at the end of the Kamloops Blazers’ WHL season.

The 18-year-old registered 20 goals and 65 total points for the Blazers this season, leading the team in assists.

The Kindersley, Saskatchewan native recorded 18 multi-point games during the season and also put up a pair of six-game point streaks.

In total, the 5’11”, 188 lbs forward has 112 points in 138 career WHL games, all with the Blazers.

Pilon was drafted by the Capitals in the third round, 87th overall, of the 2016 NHL entry draft.
