Foote won't be the only Rocket involved in the series, as the team's head coach Jason Smith was picked to be an assistant coach for Team WHL as well.
Player-wise, there will be plenty of elite talent joining Foote on the roster, including former sixth overall pick Cody Glass and 17th overall pick Ty Smith.
British Columbia hockey fans may also be interested in the lone Vancouver Canucks prospect who’s on the team, which is Moose Jaw Warriors defenseman Jett Woo.
All six games in the CIBC Canada-Russia series will be broadcasted on Sportsnet.
