The Kamloops Blazers are having an excellent season in the WHL, but that doesn't mean they aren't looking forward to the future!
Two Blazer prospects were in action this week, competing at the 2020 Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland. Mats Lindgren and Dylan Ernst, the Blazers first and third selections fro the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft, won bronze medals with Team Canada after a 4-2 win over Finland.

Lindgren was the only Blazer to appear in the bronze medal game, registering zero points and four penalty minutes en route to the win. In four tournament games, Lindgren had one assist.
Ernst was the backup goalie for the club and only appeared in one game. He stopped 12 of 14 shots in 32 minutes of action for a 2.81 goals-against average.
Team Russia took home gold at the Olympics after having a perfect round-robin and beating Team USA in the finals 4-0.
