The Kamloops Blazers were solid last season, and a big part of that reason was Czech-Republic-born forward, Martin Lang.
Because of his superb season, Lang was invited to take part in the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes Prospect Showcase. The showcase will allow prospects from the Canes, Nashville Predators, Washington Capitals, and Tampa Bay Lightning to square off to impressive the NHL teams.

Lang is one of about half the skaters invited to the camp who is neither a draft pick or a free agent. Joining him at the camp from the WHL are the Kelowna Rockets' Leif Mattson and Kyle Topping, as well as Kaleb Bulych from the Vancouver Giants.
During his last season with the Blazers, Lang appeared in 65 games where he scored 11 times to go along with 33 points.
Lang goes into the showcase as the youngest player on the Canes roster. For more information on the showcase, click here.
