Kamloops Venom rout the South Okanagan Flames

There are close games, and then there is this one...

The Kamloops Venom absolutely demolished the South Okanagan Flames on Thursday night.

In a game that was supposed to be played weeks ago but had to be rescheduled due to a broken down bus, Kamloops came out and won 16-4.

The game started out like any other as the Venom jumped out to the early 5-2 lead after one period. South Ok would battle back to make it 5-4, but the Venom would score 11 unanswered goals to win the game.

In what was a very chippy affair, Mykl Drabuik led the way with two goals and five assists. Trey Dergy was the big goal-scorer as he potted home four while Kordell Primus notched home three of his own.

Up next the Venom host the Flames again on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Arena.
