Kelowna Rockets president and general manager Bruce Hamilton announced today that the club and assistant coach Travis Crickard have mutually parted ways.
Crickard was hired by the Rockets in the summer of 2014 as an assistant and goalie coach.
"We'd like to thank Travis for his years of service," said Hamilton. "He is a great person, we wish him all the best in the future."
One of the largest highlights Crickard was a part of was when he helped the Rockets capture the 2015 WHL Championship.
The Rockets play their first game without the assistant coach on Tuesday when they take on the Kootenay Ice, puck drop is at 7 p.m.
