TRU WolfPack baseball remain atop the CCBC after split with Okanagan College

The TRU WolfPack had a real Jekyll and Hyde offensive performance this week with games against Okanagan College.

After scoring 16 runs and shutting out the Coyotes on Wednesday, the Pack fell in game two by a score of 4-2.

In the first game, TRU scored two runs in the first inning, two in the third, three in the fourth, two in the fifth, and seven runs in the sixth to mercy the Coyotes. The Pack sent 12 batters to the plate in the sixth inning alone. Liam Rihela was one of the clutch performers as he batted in three runs and scored twice.

In game two, Zac Comeault was the only member of the Pack to score a run which included his first home run of the season.

The WolfPack now sit at 14-4 and are on top of the Canadian Collegiate Baseball Conference standings. Their next games come against the UFV Cascades at Norbrock Stadium on Sunday at 1 and 4 p.m.
