A new scam is utilizing two well-known voices to steal your money.
The calls will make it seem like they’re raising money for a political cause, but the “donations” are just going to the scammers' pockets.
When you answer the phone, you’ll hear either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton’s voice on the other end.
The message, which is likely lifted from one of the politician's speeches, asks for a donation before prompting you to press another button to speak with an agent, who collects your credit card information.
You’re advised to hang up immediately on this call, as speaking to the “donation agent” can give the scammers information they can use in later cons.
The current con is using Obama and Clinton’s voices, but the technique can easily be applied to other politicians or celebrities, so be aware.
