Another earthquake off the B.C. coast

An earthquake off the coast of Tofino is the third in the region this week.

On Friday morning, just after midnight, a 4.9 magnitude earthquake hit off the coast ofVancouver Island.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was 164 km southwest of Port Hardy and 10 km deep.

This comes after one was reported off the coast of Port Hardy on Wednesday, along with another in Washington.
