Prepare for another day of smoky skies in Kelowna.
NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English said there’s no chance of any moisture today.
“We have another day of sun and haze under a strengthening upper ridge with highs in the low to mid 30s,” she explained.
“Signs point to a change to a southerly flow on Sunday and we could see increasing cloud for the second half of the weekend.”
Looking forward, she said: “Confidence remains low on whether or not we will see rain on Sunday night or Monday, but there is a moderate possibility of precipitation to close off the August long weekend.”
The overnight low heading into Friday is expected to be about 17ºC.
