PHOTOS: Parts of Alberta pelted with tennis ball-sized hail

There will definitely be some windshields to replace after a hail storm hit parts of Alberta.

According to the Weather Network, severe thunderstorms came through Southern Alberta on Thursday evening, bringing with it tennis ball-sized hail.

Albertans documented the storm on social media, showing the enormous hail that pelted communities.

The prairies, much like British Columbia, are seeing severe heat warnings, and the forecast is calling for more severe storm activity today in parts of western, southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
