Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for multiple regions across the B.C. Interior, including the North Thompson.
A low-pressure system will move into the region this afternoon, bringing unsettled weather conditions.

A possible thunderstorm would develop ahead of that front, with the potential for that storm to become severe.
The storm may also be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
According to Environment Canada, heavy rain is likely to cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
