Snowfall warning in effect for Coquihalla

Be cautious if you’re planning on driving the Coquihalla today and tonight.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Coquihalla from Hope to Merritt.

Tonight snow is expected to be heavy, easing up around midnight. A total of 15 cm is expected overnight.

The Coquihalla is expected to get approximately 5 to 10 cm of snowfall by the end of the day, adding up to a total of about 25 cm by early Monday morning.
