Which Canadian city received the most snow before Remembrance Day?

The Weather Network is reporting a new snowfall record for a region that is no stranger to snowfall records.

Happy Valley-Goose Bay on the east coast of Newfoundland and Labrador has already recorded 139.6 cm (four and a half feet) of snow since September.

That number was boosted by nearly 85 cm in October alone and marks a new snowfall record for the two month time span.

When compared to the rest of Canada the city's new snowfall is rather excessive, having more than doubled the total snowfall in Edmonton and Calgary.

Despite Alberta already being hit hard by snow this fall, B.C. has remained relatively dry thus far. However, the province's cooling temperatures and incoming weather system could bring snow as early as midweek.

For those feeling weary about the possibility of snowfall, here's a little reminder of the beauty of winter.
