The region has a little bit of hope for decreased fire behaviour. According to the Cariboo Fire Centre, the region is experiencing some shower activity today, accompanied by thunderstorms in some parts of the region.
They are expecting to see some decreased fire behaviour as a result of the recent rainfall, but say it may increase again when temperatures go back to the warm and dry conditions they have been experiencing.
