What your neighbours look like in the Great White North

Have you ever thought about taking a trip to Alaska?

It's rugged, wild and you're bound to see wildlife - that's what all the brochures promise.

Based on the Facebook pages of residents in the North, the brochures aren't wrong.

In fact, some of the wildlife may show up on your front porch, resembling a neighbour looking for sugar.

Here's a fun series of photos of wildlife getting curious about their neighbours.

I'd suggest not letting these neighbours in.

The Alaska tourism board is looking for a caption for this bear on the railing, peering in wondering what's taking them so long to answer the door.

And the bear was polite enough to knock.

We're not sure if this one actually want to be invited inside, or if it just so happens that this porch has the best viewing chair for moose baseball.

This moose appears to be less athletic and more of a spectator, but we need all types.

"Is my friend, Bear here?"

This lady moose is ready to party.

Just because animals are used to living in the wild, doesn't mean they don't enjoy the odd break from the old, green carpet.

Think for a minute about how rewarding it is to enjoy the simple things like taking a shower after returning from a camping trip.

I say, give this bear its 20 minutes of porch pampering.

We want to hear from you!
