The Kamloops RCMP is now calling the suspicious death at a Valleyview motel on Tuesday a homicide.
Around 11:30 a.m. on Jaunary 26th, RCMP were called to the 4 Seasons Motel located on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Upon arrival officers found a 49-year-old man dead at which point the RCMP Serious Crime Unit were called in.
In addition, Kamloops RCMP continue to investigate a homicide that took place on Friday, January 22nd near the 400 block of Tranquille Road.
A 30-year-old man had been assaulted by another man and succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
No arrests have been made for either incident, but police are confirming that they are not connected.
Both investigations are ongoing.
