The camera image will update frequently allowing residents to view rink conditions before heading downtown. Daily closures occur between 11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., 5 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., and 8 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Weekly ice maintenance takes place on Monday’s from 7 – 9 a.m. If the rink is closed, a yellow sign will be placed in the middle the rink (in the middle of the camera image). If the rink is open, skaters will be on the ice and there will be no signs present. Even if you don't see skaters, grab the skates, the ice is ready. Skate Rentals Skate rentals will be available at Stuart Park daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., except Christmas Day. This on-site service makes it more convenient for people who want to skate at the outdoor rink, but need to rent skates. For skate rental information, contact 250-215-4458.
