Trick or treating is always a highlight of Halloween, but Kamloops will also have plenty of family-friendly activities for the haunted holiday.
Tranquille Farm Fresh will have the Corn Maze Extravaganza from October 29th to 31st starting at 5:30 p.m. each night. The corn maze will have lights, spooky sounds, and actors to turn it into a Halloween attraction. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their best costumes.
Friday night, October 30th, Get Happy Events presents Get Spooked, a Halloween-themed fun run which will included prizes, candy, and a decorated route. The run has a five-kilometre spooky run or a one-kilometre creepy run. All participants are encouraged to wear their best costumes.
The BC Wildlife Park is presenting the final night for Boo at the Zoo on Friday, October 30th. There will be a haunted enchanted forest, a costume contest, haunted maze, and many light displays.
The Kamloops Heritage Railway Ghost Train is running each night at 7 p.m. on October 29th, 30th, and 31st, with a 4 p.m. ride on the 31st suitable for kids. On a dark and stormy Halloween night in 1915 a train carrying 44 passengers heading from Kamloops to Blue River disappeared into a thick fog and never reappeared. Join the one-hour long Ghost Train ride to hear the spooky tales of the past.
